One of my Faith Goals granted!
Oh well, I haven’t blogged for 2 weeks. Just when I decided that I’ll blog everything, internet went on and off. Then I’m addicted to watching One Piece. (sighed) Anyway, one of my faith goals did happened last Friday, January 20,2011 when I booked for Piso Fare to Boracay! Yehey! I’ll get to explore 3 beautiful places God created. Pagudpud this March, Coron this April and Boracay this June! I know though that I’ll be needing a lot of money for this but like I always believe, My God is rich! He will provide for me. By the way, BOM in Alaminos will be this coming Sunday and I’m not worrying at all because I know that worry doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t solve anything. I know that everything’s in God’s hand! If it’s for me, it is for me! God knows my story.
My 2012 Faith Goals
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. -John 10:10, NIV
Father God, what is this life to the full that you want me to have this year? I wanna know.
Specific. Measurable. Attainable. Realistic. Timely. —-> this should be how we set our faith goals (from Girlfriends in God devotional). And are the goals we are setting from God or from our own selfish desires?
Today, I’ll blog my faith goals coz I believe that If I put it on paper, it might get lost.
MY FAITH GOALS:
SPIRITUAL. Attend 2pm service every Sunday with He knows who. Always attend victory group. Have my devotion after work. Blog my devotion. I won’t rob God by not tithing..I’ll tithe with all honesty. To know God more and more and go deeper into His words. Lead a victory group. Finish the training for victory. Speak of God always. Sabi nga sa Scriptures, “Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.” Every time that I’ll sin unintentionally (coz you know, we are sinners), I will not condemn myself. I will thank God every time I’ll wake up and its with a smile. “I’ll have a great day ahead.” “His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.” I will remind myself of those always. God is the greatest breakthrough.
PERSONAL. Speak English straight grammatically correct and not stutter. Manage my time really well. Won’t be late for dates or appointments. Won’t be late in work. Wake up not later than 10am when there’s no work. Sleep not later than 12midnight. I won’t lie even about small things. Do household chores. Be diligent and organized. Be truthful always. Get rid of the Mañana habit. Read my faith goals every day so I won’t forget about it.
BUSINESS. I want to share my business to bless other people as well. Go back to Laguna and have people sign up for VMobile. Have a business meeting in Jerjohn’s place at Batangas and have people sign up. Both not later than the first quarter of the year. Have a Business Opportunity Meeting here in Cupang. More people to sign up on MyTurf or myLX under our network. Provision in running the business. Growth.
CAREER. Explain the subject I’m teaching very well so my students will learn a lot. One of the comments our principal wrote in my evaluation is not being able to explain the topic rationally so I want to improve on it wherever school I go to in the future. Teach in public school and be a campus minister. To have a high rank in the upcoming ranking of teachers. Enroll in M.A. specifically at U.P. I want to master Physics. Excel in my workplace.
FINANCES. Provision for my braces. Have a bank account and save. Manage my money wisely. Won’t buy things I don’t need and ask God before I buy something I want. Pay my debt. TITHE.
RELATIONSHIPS. To be free of unhealthy relationships. Household salvation as well as relatives, friends, co-workers, students, neighbors, and He knows who. Restoration. God knows very well whom He needs to restore in our family. Kinda too personal that I can’t blog about that. My family not to be involved in other people’s lives. Forget the past. Heal broken hearts. Good health. Protection.
LEISURE. Of course, God wants His people to explore His wonderful creations — the tourist spots here in the Philippines and abroad. Glad that I’ll be able to explore Coron and Pagudpud this summer. Plus, book a cheap flight (Piso fare)to Boracay as well. I want to go out of the country, maybe Singapore.
MATERIAL THINGS. DSLR cam. Ipod Shuffle. Blackberry phone, coz I lost my samsung galaxy last year. LCD projector (i’ll use it as teaching aid and in presenting business). Seems impossible? Nope because God owns everything because He created everything. I know its not bad to ask for material things. I am His child after all. He is my Father. Is it considered a material thing but I want to apply for a house and lot loan in PAGIBIG. I also want to have a car but that would be next year. :)
MOST of all, an engagement ring and a wedding ring from the man I love that is a Man of God.
Most of the goals here require a lot of money. Money in this world is an issue and it is an issue for me. I’ve always been short, that’s why I want Him to change me to manage my finances well. It might be impossible but I am a child of God, my God who is really rich. I am co-heir with Christ. My Father owns everything here. Nothing is impossible with Him.
I believe for breakthroughs this 2012. But the most great breakthrough that I’ll ever receive is God.
God won’t entrust you with BIG things if you won’t be able to manage the little things He gave you. I will always remember that. :)
2012 Prayer and Fasting
Holding to God, there were times (many times actually) that I slipped but He never slipped. He never let go. He upholds.
Victory holds Prayer and Fasting annually and this is the time of the year for that. And because I felt so unworthy, I hesitated to do so. My worries and my sins were holding me back. “”Di ba sabi mo, hindi ka na magwoworry and that you’ll lift up everything to God?” I was talking to myself. Up to the last minute, I was battling within myself. But God gave me faith to pursue this. He told me that whoever I was last year won’t matter to Him. And so, I set my foot in Victory.
The moment that I was there, I thanked God for never letting go of me. I thanked Him for the kind of love He has for me. “I owe you a lot.” I remember saying that to Him. “You don’t owe me anything, because my love for you is FREE.” Those words popped into my head. Was that the Holy Spirit talking to me? I was very really excited!
If you feel that you’ve gone cold and you spiritual walk is fading, this is the perfect time of the year to fast because fasting brings revival. That’s as per Pastor Sonny, not the exact words though. I felt encouraged. I’ll do this!
I realized a lot of things that has happened in my life last 2011. I’ve gone through painful sharpening but everything’s for me. I realized how shallow I am on my faith in Him. I realized I’ve become pretentious. I realized I’ve taken my job for granted. I realized how much I’ve hurt God for all the sins that I did.
Now, I am rescued again. Thank you, Father.
God’s love is new every morning…
It’s already 1:20 AM and later I have work at 7:00 AM. I’m kinda sad a bit but I decide that every morning, I’ll wake up with smile on my face and not complain. God’s love is new every morning, fresh every morning, so whatever I did yesterday doesn’t matter to Him. I don’t even have to worry about tomorrow. I only have to think about today. Last year, I live with a lot of fears and worries in my life, now I’ll start the year trusting God about anything. I complained a lot and talked a lot. I think if God is a trash talker, He would probably tell me to “Shut up! Don’t you know that I am God?”. So yeah, I’ll shut up coz I have a BIG God! :)
”Cease striving and know that I am God” -Psalm 46:10 NASB
tumblrbot asked: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
talking to myself, telling that everything will go well because I have God.
"23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
-Colossians 3: 23-24"29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
-John 20: 29, NNIV
I love all the Pirates of the Caribban movies. (As in, super!). And I and Jason, waited for so long for the fourth one. And last May 20, on the day of it’s showing, we watched it in IMAX. It’s great. The story is simple but it’s really a great movie. Lots of fun, wits, jokes, naughtly lines, and most of all, lots of witty Jack Sparrow. We even had a high school reunion on this day but we didn’t cancel watching Pirates because we love it. We just headed to the reunion after this.
One of the highlights of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 are the mermaids. They’re really beautiful, making me want I’m a mermaid too. hehe! We’re looking forward to Pirates of the Caribbean 5. :)
Love Life and Career
I have two problems this season: my lovelife and my career. And because of that I’m developing eyebags and shedding fats. I’m becoming slimmer. I’m so stressed and depressed. Father help me…
